I have a book printed in 1696.
It's one volume of what was a two-volume history of Ireland.
The funny thing (to me) was seeing a drawing of a ruined abbey in my hometown, which looks just the same today except that the land is surrounded by houses.

Some of the wood beams in my barn are from a previous structure and i have been told there from the mid 1800's

I also have a few books from the early 1900's

How about an egyptian scarab ring from King Tut's tomb.
Are you serious? I am surprised that the Egypt government would allow such national treasures to be sold off to individuals. Are you sure it is genuinely from the tomb and not an imitation/copy/recreation?

In the summer of 1968, my familyi took a road trip through upstate New York. We stopped at a road side attraction the allowed the digging of fossils in the shale. I have several pieces, icluding a complete scallop like bi-valve about 3/4 inch across and several impressions of what appear to be trilobites. That would put them to be in excess of 200 million years old.
