I agree with your concerns about our personal information and security. That's why I don't post too much personal information or what I have in my S2K--just in case someone wants to steal my car or from my car--don't want them to know what I have. I wouldn't post that I was going out of town either, etc...stuff like that. Mean/Bad people could go "shopping" on this site.

If I get things done to my cars--tint, alarm, stereo, mod installs (anything that would allow someone else to be in my car)--I don't give them my home address since they would know what I have in my cars and now know where I live to get it if they or their friends decide they want to go "shopping" for stuff. My opinion:
I think thefts occur from people who know what you have in your car and know where you live to get it.
