Default what's wrong with having a urinal in a house?

my wife doesn't think a urinal in the master bathroom is something she wants to have. i think the benefits far outweighs what she considers to be ungainly:

- no need to fight about the toilet seat being up or down
- no need to argue about "splattering"
- easier to clean
- easier to aim and shoot

guys, give me a hand in the argument!

You know what Rich, it's the whole idea of a urinal that is turning her off. It's because it makes her think of public restrooms, YUCK.

but actually when I build a custom home in the future I plan on having one. The thing that people don't know is that home urinals are quite different. I actually first saw it on "Home Improvement" the TV show.

They use very little water per flush and actually close up and when closed don't take up much room or look like a urinal. So if she sees a custom urinal she'll probably get over the reason she doesn't want one and then you'll win with the reasons you mentioned that one is a great idea!

i don't think she wants a urinal because she can't use it....and it does remind you of a public bathroom......
