~13 miles one-way, 40mph speed limits, about 25-30 minutes. If I don't catch any lights and there isn't any traffic, the best I've done is 17 minutes. That has only occurred when I leave at about 2pm (or 2am).

 

19 miles on way. Can do it in about 23-25 minutes. Its all back roads, so there is absolutely no traffic. So about 38 miles a day.

I'm moving a bit farther away in 2 weeks, and my commute will double.

 

5 miles round trip. On the way to work I crest a hill and see the pacific ocean and the channel islands. On the way back on the same windy foothill road I see the foothills.
