I swear, this is going to sound like one of those weird ghost stories that you hear as a kid, but this is absolutely, 100% true... I'm still not sure what to make of it, but here goes:

On a recent trip to Europe, I collected a bunch of things for my sister and nephew. Since the friend I was staying with is US military, I was able to pack all of those things into a USPS Priority Mail box, seal it, and send it to her without hauling it all home and then sending it.

My sister called me yesterday, asking me to tell her which things were for her and which were for my nephew. She ticked off a list of contents with me telling her what was for whom until she said, "well, I guess the necklace with the blue beads is for me." I was baffled; I didn't send her any necklace! She then stated, "well, I guess it's rosary beads, since it has a crucifix on it."

WTF?

I didn't buy or send rosary beads! My family isn't Catholic, so we would have no idea what to do with them anyway. I had sent her a tshirt that was in a plastic bag, and since I bought it from a street vendor, I thought that it might have been in the bag, but she stated that the bag was still firmly sealed. In fact, she said that when she opened the box, the rosary beads were right on top of everything, as if I'd wanted her to see it first, before anything else.

OK, so what do you guys think about this? Personally, I think it's a little creepy!

 

Had you been drinking when you packed the box ?????

 

I drank a lot while I was overseas (not nearly enough ), but no drinking had taken place the day I packed this box. I am still completely puzzled!

That is really weird, I would throw the thing away.

 

It could be:
1. A smuggler opened the box, put in the beads (really high quality drugs, hardened and dyed black) and is going to break into your sisters any night now to reclaim them.
2. The USPS threw your package around, smashed it up, and somebody with a shred of integrity repackaged it and sent it on with an apology gift.
3. It's the Holy Spirit, girl, and you better get to a nunnery, cause the Lord has plans for you.
4. An early April Fools joke from your sister?
5. Someone observed how fast you drive your S2000 and figured your sister might need them to pray for your safety.

When you find out, you have to let us know.

Its a sign that you have to atone for your sins. Its telling you that your penance is to buy me one accessory for each bead and the crucifix represents a....

Any chance that someone in customs at either end opened the box to inspect the contents and dropped it in by accident?
