The guy on the corner who also sells real Rolex's for $50.

Seriously though, I bet if you search the web you'll find what you're looking for. But the biggest question is how will it make the document or photo look.

Of course Best Buy, Office Depot & Staples carry them.

You can buy a new printer and get a color and b&w ink pod for the cost of buying replacement ink...

You can buy this printer for $35 shipped at OWC that comes with a B&W and color cartridge - http://eshop.macsales.com/item/Canon/IP1800/

The replacement ink for it:
B&W - PG-30 Black cartridge - $16 (plus shipping)
Color - CL-31 Color cartridge - $21 (plus shipping)

Total = $37 +

If your printer is old enough, and ink expensive enough, just buy a new printer and save money.

I had the same dillema with my epson, nice printer but retail price, the a full set of cartridges costs almost as much as the printer did.

A full set of ink was $85. I tried to get one of the set of refillable cartridges with chip resetter. They did not work for a second and I was out $35.

The I put my ink cartridge numbers into EBAY search box and found a couple retailers selling the full set set of 6 genuine Epson cartridges for ~$40 shipped. Ebay was the cheapest I could find and it seemed there are a couple ebay business that sell in carts near cost.

it depends. if you have business class machines, it is much more cost effective to buy toner. retail cheapo printers have become replaceable at the current price point. i have used the site i posted for the past 2yrs and always get good quality toner, cheaply and quickly. happy friday.

I don't know if I'd call toner cost effective or not. I have an HP color laser printer. Prints beautifully but the toner cartridges are $82/ea. That's $328 for a full set of new toner cartridges (CMYK). The printer itself was around $350 and that was a little over a year ago.

I use the color laser sparingly so fortunately I have had to change only the black cartridge and that was only once so far. I have a B&W laser that is my standard printer.

i'm buying black and white toner for my copier,fax and printers for an avg of 25bux each vs. 85 or so for the OEM stuff. performs just as well and get just about the same number of pages out of them. so yes, they are cost effective.

Dell is the worst, you have to buy from them. I think just recently they made it available at staples too but that's it
