All the rally news I could find was for a Europe run....maybe someone else will chime in with US info. Good luck, and have fun!

i found one event in thr US but its 10 grand for entry a lil steep for a
road race and then i will still have to pay the speeding fines.
what r the fines for speeding in the US?
is there jail time for high speed offences?

I think this is the only coast to coast rally anymore - http://www.gumball3000.com/

Then there's Car and Driver's Tire Rack [other random names here] One Lap of America, which is like a true rally - http://www.onelapofamerica.com/

Fines vary and yes people expect to go to jail, but they bail themselves out...

in australia police have to stop chasing if they go over 180 Km/H. or heavy traffic but funny that they do not always abide by the rules.

if you run from the cops in the US you might very well get shot. You might as well just pull over, get your ticket, and drive on. Only the very stupid think running from the cops in the US is the best way to handle a simple moving violation.

As fast as their planes and helicopters. . . you'll also need to also be able to outrun barricades and "impromptu counter-meaures" that'll be laid out on the road.

My suggestion is to do as what's been posted above: take your ticket, and be thankful if you don't get hauled in.

That said, there's also the Players Run:
