They say that he's in a secure spot. What do you think?

I haven't seen him since before the attacks. I am beginning to think something is going on, either 1) he is dead(hopefully not) 2) sick(pacemaker issues) 3) running the war from behind closed doors(has more experience than Bush)

That's all I got.

I hope it is 3

Bush said in his address to the nation, that Cheney was in the Oval Office earlier today, but is now somewhere else.

I would imagine that a good deal of the current war strategy was created by Dick Cheney. He was one of the first President Bush's point men in the Gulf War.

I imagine that he & the president are not suppose to be in the same location in times like these.

I think the same way. If something happen to one, the other will be there to lead.

Reminds me more of the movie "Dave".
Even behind the scenes wouldn't we have a soundbite? Maybe a picture in the Oval office after the fact taken by the secret service?

CNN has said: "In Washington, Vice President Dick Cheney has remained at a secure, undisclosed location away from the White House". The full text of the article can be found here:

Actually, he is doing exactly what the Vice President is supposed to - nothing.
