Why can no one understand the concept of a plurality? People use the term "minority" for everything that isn't a majority. The author of the article doesn't even know the difference.
Majority - The group with greater than 50%, and thus the greatest number.
Plurality - The group with the greatest number, period.
Minority - Any group without the greatest number.
Whites will become only a plurality in 2050, as opposed to a majority. It will be a much longer time before they're a minority.

The logical opposite of majority is not minority, just like the opposite of hot logically is not cold.
