Default Who Is The Best WR In NFL Right Now??

Ok guy's, i know the season is over!! Who do you think is the best WR in the game as of now and why??
My pick is Terrell Owen. The best combination of size and speed. Too bad the 49ers don't have the right quarterback to compliment his skill!! And i think he's going to the Falcons next season!!

Marvin Harrison....

wish it was TO, but I think last year we all saw quite a few balls that were catchable that he straight out dropped. I don't really think it's the QB as much as the coaching.

but I still believe Rice could be listed way up there... there's no telling what he could still be doing if the Raiders ever get rid of Ganon and had a real QB throwing to him again.

Love Terrell and Marvin but its Moss (Randy not Santanna). Randy is a big pain in the butt, and Terrell and Marvin play hard all the time, but Randy is a freak of nature. Terrell also has had more head-case issues lately.

When he focuses (read: lays of the weed or has a national televised game) he has great hands and body control. The refs hate him because he pouted and squirted one with a water bottle so they let d-backs just outright mug him. If corners are not allowed to hold him, he is SO much faster than everyone in the NFL. Game speed not just 40 yard dash. The only other one who makes my jaw drop with that kind of athletic ability is Micheal Vick.

Another vote here for Harrison - though the nod goes to Moss for athleticism.

I think there there are some receivers who are better at one area than others, but Harrison is a great all-around receiver.

I like Harrison, and still vote for Randy but I forgot to mention, it is always amusing to see Terrell Owens catch the flair pass at the line of scrimage and toss a charging linebacker to the ground with one arm. That dude is freaking HUGE for a WR.

Now this is something I could get into. I think picking the BEST is hard because they all play different offesnes and have different QBs throwing them the ball. Here's my top 5, and I'm basing mine on who I think will be the best over the next 5 years.

1. Randy Moss - Freak of nature, 6-4, can jump out of the building, and can fly, he ever gets Rice's dedication, he'll be unstoppable

2. Torry Holt - Fast, is great in the dome, runs great routes, and WANTS to be great

3. Terrell Owens - He's huge. Fast. Needs to concentrate more. He'll be a great fit in Atlanta or Philly (but he won't go to Philly, Reid won't want him)

4. Chad Johnson - This guy officially broke out this year. With Kitna or Palmer throwing him the ball, he'll keep stacking up the yards and the TDs for years to come.

5. Marvin Harrison - If he wasn't going to be 36 at the end of the 5 years, he'd be 3rd. I think he's the best now. Peyton and Marvin are always in synch. And the guy has a deceiving burst of speed and just knows how create seperation.

So there you have it. My selections on a subject I love talking about, football. Except when my Eagles are in the 4th quarter and inevitably losing another NFC Championship game!!!

Yes that's true... there are times that Owen was wide open on the long routes and weak arm Garcia threw it short. I mean i could throw ball longer than Garcia, don't get me wrong the guy has heart and could out right play the game. Garcia just need to stay in the pocket and let the recevier run it's route instead of running around like a chicken got his head chop off!!
