I don't, as a practice. Too much money, generally for a name. I've got expensive designer suits (as a gift) and cheaper suits, for instance - people compliment both equally as much. I've tried lots of brand name jeans - can't stand most of them. Shirts I do prefer in brand names, mainly because they're typically cut in a way that "fits" a lean guy, which I am (other shirts are more "billowy")...

In short, I buy what's comfortable for me. I don't spend much money on clothes - I haven't spent more than $150 in the past two years, I don't think. What I buy, lasts, and I don't buy again unless I really need it.

I've always figured it was the person that made the clothes, not the other way around...

I like Parasuco for Jeans, I wear a lot of Zara, Blend, etc etc.. but I have no name as well, it just depends on the occassion... Brand Names aren't necessarily better, but as mentioned above, they do have some traits that make them a better fit...

I don't care much for labels on clothes but I will only wear skechers shoes. Imo they just fit better and last a really long time.

wow, judging from the above, I guess we really don't have people here interested in labels.

There is a difference, but if that difference is worth it to you is really an individual thing.

Lessee, my typical "uniform":

Pants/Slacks: Levis (usually) or Dockers
Shirts: Dockers polo shirts for work, T-shirts or polo shirts for off-work
Shoes: Doc Martin oxfords or boots.
Socks & underwear: Kirkland
Jacket: London Fog

Wallet: Coach
Watch: Citizen Aqualand or 70's LED watch
Car: Honda S2000

Clothes are usually only purchased when needed, such as when they start to wear out. I never "shop" for clothes at other times.
