Default Who Else Got Screwed On Their Tax Return?

well, i got my refund today and it wasnt anywhere near the right amount that was on my tax return. Then theres a notice saying that the return amount is different than on ur tax return and we will be sending u a notice explaining the reasons why. WTF? I want my money!! this is really BS. I file my taxes and am satisfied with my tax return, now i get shot out like $500. did anyone else get this notice?

I did my taxes online and got exactly what they told me I would get....
I'm curious as to what the hell this "notice" will contain.

I hope your "notice explaining the reasons" doesn't come in the form of a letter addressed to "Dear Audited Taxpayer."

I received the refund I was expecting.

Did you contact the person who did your taxes? What did he or she have to say about the notice?
