Who else has stopped reading the "Street Encounters" folder?

Default Who else has stopped reading the "Street Encounters" folder?

I don't know about anyone else but I can barely stand to go over and read the posts on what used to be my fav. folder. It seems like every third post is someone coming in and whining about how unsafe a race that they were not there to witness was. Now I can understand wanting to advocate safety, but is that the right forum to do so in, esp. in what feels like every other post in that folder. Maybe the mods could create a "sticky" at the top of the folder where anyone who wanted to bitch about how unsafe street racing is could post away (that way I would only have to see "you are endangering others" and "people are unpredictable" once).

Just a little venting, what do others think?

I read one thread once, and posted something silly just to be silly once. But that thread was pointed out to me to comment on.

I don't venture there, don't even bother reading the "my dick is bigger than yours" type of threads. Not all the threads over there are just that, but take a survey of the posts and you'll see.

I don't bother with that forum as everyone seems to spend the whole time arguing wether it is worth spending an extra 50k to have a 911 that only just beats that S2000

the threads seem to be pretty repetative and boring to me.

I like our "street encounters" forum. Its alot more sane the many other Kill forums out there. At least we know what our cars can and can not do.

Never go, not interested, all the hot air doesn't come from the exhausts.

I can barely stand to go ever there either Timid, but I suspect for diametrically opposed reasons to yourself.

i did...
i thought it was kinda cool first and i did post some stuff now and then but... i don't know,
i just stopped reading it.
i think "car talk" folder is so much nicer and more "educated" way to compare our cars to others.

I'm not interested in street racing so I don't read it.
