i've decided to get this for my beater: balanced, RWD, and lots of tuning opps.

anyone have exp. playing with these cars?

240sx? I'm guessing it's the 200sx in Australia (Silvia S14).

indeed, but we've got a 2.4L TRUCK engine (lots of torque, no ponies). There's a turbo kit for it from F-Max that's supposed to blow the doors off SR20DETs (haven't tried it yet).

but i want to convert the front/rear end to S15 though, looks cool.

that's still a ways away.

under powered
over priced
not that many mods out there since they didn't sell too well
had one in college
had a 200sx as well (boxy little thing)
It's taking you forever to decide which beater to get.
Either way, you still have half a year to decide.
Oh wait....that can turn into 5 years, too

Or is 10k too much to spend?

too much to spend.

i used to drive an '89 240SX and i liked the low end and handling enough. and it's cheap now. i mean, 6K can't buy you an integra GSR ('94+), and the difference means that turbo kit
