My ex had one awhile back. They do give you good drugs He was so freaking out of it when I drove him there it was hysterical.

I offered to get my inner stuff snipped but my doctor recommended against it First they tell you too young, you might change your mind (ug, kids, never) and then you wait and they tell you too old

It is a quick procedure and if you follow the rules they give you things should be back to normal in a few weeks. Lots of ice on "the affected area" and keep off your feet for as long as possible. Ideally have a few days off after it to recover.

And remember you are not shooting blanks right away Get tested in a month or two and make sure you are not still "loaded"

I would never, ever, ever get snipped.

I've had two friends that got a vasectomy and both had complications including a MRSA infection and a prostate infection.

Nope, no Joseph the 4th.

The wife has been on the pill since we met over 10 years ago, that's long enough.

Besides, we just bought another house, last thing we need is a kid in the next couple of years. I'm 41 y.o. FWIW.

a guy i know just recently got snipped. came back to work the day after, and although he walked kinda funny, he was fine. said he was a bit sore for about 3-4 days after, but nothing ice and some good drugs didn't fix.

and yea, you don't quite shoot blanks right away... i know a couple people who had suprises after they said they were done having kids. ooops, here comes #3!

For some reason there are more complications for the guys than when the girls have it done. My uncle had balls the size of apples for weeks. He couldn't even get out of bed.

You'd think it was less invasive on the guys and therefore it would be simpler.

Which leads to parenthood.

I got fixed in 1981.I ran a 10k road race less than a week later. Okay, the steep downhill at 5 1/2 miles was a bit rough, but other than that, I was fine.

for stepping up for the wife.

Several of my brothers in law went that route, none were sorry, and not a one of them said it was a big deal.
