Who has their MBA?
Cool...good luck! 40 points is a pretty decent improvement margin, actually.
Hey, can you do me a favor and let me know which school you end up getting into? I did my undergrad degree at UCLA, and would've really liked to do my grad degree there as well, but figured I wouldn't get in and therefore didn't bother applying. I wouldn't have minded USC, either, but I also didn't think I had a shot there...'cause my undergrad GPA is really sad.
Anyway, so now, after I finish the MBA, I want to move back to So Cal and go to law school there. My girlfriend might move with me and apply at UCLA, USC, Pepperdine, or LMU for her MBA, so I'd be curious how stringent they are about admissions. Thanks...

Not a guarantee to get in, but all else being equal between you and another applicant, you'd most likely get the nod. Unless the other family made a substantial contribution to the program. You know how that goes.
I would think they would want both grad and undergrad grades, but doing well in an MBA program can only help you. It should show them that you are taking school more seriously now. The longer you've been out of school, the less important your undergrad stuff is because you should have added some beneficial experience during that time that can help you out.
Any of you guys willing to review a few essays for me? I've had a few people look at them, but I figure multiple opinions can't hurt. If you can help, pls pm me your e-mail adress.
thanks
