Kinda like LA, where electricity actually causes the city to shut down instead

Just the music? Be honest...
Anything I say here may be used against me

But I will say this, I've been known to dance ALL night long and FEEL REALLY GOOD. Every now and then, you'll see me playing with glow sticks
Any chomping going on 2?? =P

Raves is da $hit. I love progressive music and techno. I'm kidda sick of the hip-hop sence. The lyrics in most of the song are the same, *imma pop you**I got the icy ice, bling bling**imma 'do' you like this/that*.

I dunno about the scene being so "hot" here in Seattle. The last good rave I went to was Endmion at Naf Studios in '93. Since then its was mostly Mike Mercer rehash, underage start-ups, ElectroLush at Showbox, Superhighway, and Last Supper Club. I do think it is important to catch all of Donald Glaude's nights as he and Trent Von are the two best DJ's in Seattle. I remember these two DJ's as far back as the orginal Underground in the U District. I am still out dancing six nights a week and the scene has its good days and its bad days.

Raves are whack. All the people in there are so out of it. And the way they dance... You call that dancing? It looks more like convulsing...

This is unsolicited advice, but the only drugs that are less safe, as far as your brain is concerned, than ecstasy, are solvents (like toluene in glue). There is no evidence that heroin (unless it makes you stop breathing), marijuana, GHB, LSD, etc are neurotoxic, but MDMA certainly is in rats. We obviously can't do randomized controlled trials in humans. I say this as a neuroscientist (PhD) as well as a physician, and I'm putting it here because there is alot of misinformation about X out there. If anyone wants me to pm them info, I can back this up with references.

If you do start doing randomized controlled tests on humans and you need some subjects, let me know
