I'm just teasing people with an over-exagerated attitude, and I quite like my role of the ranting frenchie (although none of my grandparents are french and I feel more Greek than anything), I even think it's healty for the balance of this site. But maybe you'd prefer a place where all the opinions were the same, where at the end of the day everyone could hold their hands and praise the lord for having given us this holy land of america?
I personally learned a lot from this site, not only about my car, but also about people, about cultural differences and the need to highlight them sometimes. I know I'm not always doing that with much care and precaution, but what? Can't you accept criticism? I might not be very subtle at times, but remember that english isn't my mother tongue, and I may underestimate the impact of my words (does obese-lobotomised-ignorant-yankee seem offensive to you? j/k).
And if you look at most of the responses to my angry comments, people DO get the sarcasm, and they expect me to play my role (from that to saying that this place has a theatrical side to it...) :

seeing as one party is only semi-literate, whereas another is not only implying a high level of literacy but is also prancing around on his high horse....perhaps a half-french guy could have the courtesy to reply to his fellow countryman in his native tongue to level the playing field a bit.

and while im on the subject, does it not seem even in the slightest bit odd to anyone else that whilst at the same time as claiming to be wounded by light hearted teasing of americans the offended party then stands up as a proud american by waving both french and irish flags?
