I am also at work, prolly gonna bust outta here around 2:30 though, this place is empty.

 

The first time it was 3rd gear grinding bad. Then the gears started to get sticky and it wouldn't go into 6th. AT ALL. It turned out that the synchros and sleeves were bad. Total tranny overhaul. Same crap this time. I found out that they will not REPLACE your transmission, only rebuild it. I am not a happy camper. I also just found out that I have to take it to the dealer that originall did the work, after a call to the district rep and not getting through of course, or whatever, the service manager said they the COULD fix it, but couldn't give me a loaner or a rental. So here we are at 4pm, I have been here since 11am and my car was not fixed. I will have to take it to the other dealer on Monday and pray to the car gods that my trannie doesn't blow upn doing 75 mph at 5700 rpms on the highway up there! Phew, I feel better getting that off my chest.....

 

if i was in FL, i'd go for a drive with you in my S in case something happens, but I live in CA.

maybe you can get someone in ur area to drive w/ you.

Company decided (last minute) to give us today as paid hoilday.

 

i had class yesterday (4th) and today.
