Why do people say "mines"?
More and more lately I've seen people on these forums use the word "mines". As in "You got new wheels too? I'm picking mines up tomorrow." For some reason it really bothers me. Is it the new thing or something? It really needs to go away!

I HATE it when people don't speak correctly. Not only is it annoying to listen to, but it makes them sound like a 4 year old.

Its the result of the declination in the English language due to todays modern culture.

what irks me even more is when a black person says, "Yo, I AXED you a question!" or "What did you AXE me?".

the one i hate the most is lose/loose. at least its/it's, you're/your, and their/there/they're all sound the same...lose/loose are completely different!
i guess this is more typing and not speaking...but it's still annoying.

i agree, people sound like morons these days. there is a guy here at work who always uses the word "specifically." the problem is, he always says "pacifically." what a douche.
