You guys amaze me! When one of your buddies are selling something or it is something you like then it is OK to ask a couple of dollars less than you or they paid. Anyone else and it becomes flame time. I remember seeing a post where a guy was selling BBS LM rims with used tires for 2600 and you guys said what a great deal it was. You can buy those rims new for 2600. Some guy is selling his used exhaust for 2000 he paid 2200 and again what a great deal. Used parts are just that used! Do you sell you S for a couple of hundred less than what you paid? Everyone is entitled to ask what they feel is a fair price if you don't agree just don't reply. I thought this site was to get to know other people with common interests and learn and share knowledge not rate or flame people just because they are different or aren't asking what you think is fair. Come on guys there is enough bullshit going on in the world we don't need insults and attitude here. This is supposed to be fun, right? I just don't get it unless that is fun or the thing to do. I would just prefer that people either add something useful or don't comment.

In the future you might want to leave the price out of the post and handle the $$ matters behind the scene. With the glut OEM wheels going for about $600 a set, and sometimes much less, I'm afraid your post was viewed to be comical by many.

Don't let it get to you. It's only bits on the wire.

Have a happy new year and forget all about it.

What's the point of copying and pasting this thread all over this site? This is like the second or third time I have seen this...The only reason I see for this post is to start a flame war...It's not needed...

Also, at the end of your post you say, "I would just prefer that people either add something useful or don't comment."

How is that comment or better yet, this thread you posted useful? Just curious...

Since you want to make this into a bigger deal then it was in BigEddie's thread. I will correct you here as well.

suzuka - maybe you should check your facts before you put your foot in your mouth.

Here is the BBS LM thread you are referring to.

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthre...20LM%20forumid5

Where in there do any of us comment on what a great deal that is? Let's do some math. BBS LMs in the S2000 sizes run about 2600 plus 800 for tires is 3400 without shipping. So asking 2800 shipped. Would be really $700+ less then what he paid. That's not a good deal? Maybe not it's perspective right? But asking folks to pay more then the cost new? That's OK in your opinion?

Second, the guy with the exhaust is in this thread.

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthre...&threadid=97327

He paid $2240 and is asking $2000 and the exhaust is brand new. Notice the word "NEW" not used as you stated. So once again you are incorrect.

Third, all I stated was that he shouldn't be asking more then what the parts are worth. If you can get them new, for less then what he paid, why would you want to pay more?

Fourth, your right you don't sell your S2000 for a couple hundred less then what you paid. You sell it for thousands less then what you paid. Why? Because it is used.

Here is your own quote "I thought this site was to get to know other people with common interests and learn and share knowledge not rate or flame people just because they are different or aren't asking what you think is fair"

Contradictory statement here. If I know for a fact that the asking price is unfair. Does it not benefit the potential buyer and help him if I speak out? I am sharing knowledge am I not? No one is flaming him because he is different? I don't even care to guess how you can interpret that. On the other side of the coin, does it not benefit the seller to know that his asking price is higher then market value? If he really is looking to clear inventory and get rid of the item, doesn't it help him to know that he would have a hard time selling at that price?
