why does everyone interupt each other so much?
It's a nasty habit, but I interrupt so much I consider myself to have mastered the art (nasty as it maybe).
The truth? I have an extremely short span of attention, if I wait too long I'll just forget what I wanted to say by the time the person who's talking finishes.
Also, it's fair to say that sometimes the point
you're trying to make will only be of relevance at that particular point in time, so if you don't 'get your foot in the door' (otherwise known as 'interrupt') it may rapidly become redundant.
The bottom line is that it is pretty rude
and you I guess you have to strike a balance. After all, a great conversation is a 2-way process.
Cheers.
..or nothin
ps... am I the only one that spells 'inteRRupt' with 2 'r's? maybe the US spelling does with just one 'r'?
and if that's the case....JAMES mate, wot's your excuse?

you ever watch "scarborough country".... that is king of all interupting!
All you ever hear is 2 people talking....then Joe Scarbourgh tells one of them to be quiet.... then Joe himself interupts whoever is talking......
After watching the show, i am not sure why anyone would ever volenteer to go on the show, knowing they won't get to complete even one sentence without being interupted (interrupted).
