The base roadster runs about $62K. It has an aluminum 4.6-liter V8 Cobra engine developed by Ford. 305-horsepower and 300 pounds-feet of torque.

 

I was at a Panoz dealership Monday and they had a Yellow Roadster (not the Esperante) that they claim to want to move out. I didn't even ask the price. If you want me to I'll call and get a price for you.

That's ok. The last thing I need is another car. I'll have to wait until I move out to the burbs and check out what Panoz is doing then. Thanks for the offer, though.

 

Panoz builds very slick stuff. A few of the folks around here with pre-IPO options have been considering these... I would take either one over a Z8 in a heartbeat.
