Why Are People So Stupid?
Ahhhhh man. He was hurt already and they tried to scare him? Ugh. Glad you didn't have a gun... I remember reading that thread, actually, though I'd forgotten (or thought you had another horse or something - who knows? Perhaps I'm the world's only senile 23 year old).
Talk about mindless idiots, though. Seriously. That really ticks me off.
My dog got hit by a car about a year ago (got out of the back yard) - the car hit him so hard that the neighbours thought the car had hit a moose. They didn't even slow down, just kept on going. He wasn't badly hurt - no broken bones, just some shock, though he wasn't the same again. Had to be put down about two months later.
I was looking at car bumpers in the neighbourhood for dog hair and dents for weeks, trying to find who did it. I'm not violent or physically aggressive by nature, but I have a feeling I'd have added a few more dents to the car....using the person.

Khaleel is a very nice name
(For those of you who speak English rather than Arabic, Khaleel means "friend", or "companion". I learned from a gentleman who speaks Arabic that the connotation is that of someone with whom you could sit up all night long chatting and enjoying each other's company. It sounded like the perfect name for my horse.)
