I don't know where you are in CA but for a huge amount of "suck up" there are hot air balloon / champagne breakfasts over the Napa Valley. All served in crystal, sterling, and china.
I don't know if the FAA has let the balloons fly yet. We had a Balloon Festival here last week (Plano TX) and all the balloons were grounded due to FAA requirements.
