Since there are a few (fellow) shooters on the forum, I wanted to ask if anyone has had the opportunity to own or fire any of the Wilson Combat .45's?

I'm looking to buy a match grade 1911, and am quite interested in the CQB. It looks like Wilson does really nice work and I haven't heard anything bad about the product, anyone have experience to the contrary?

 

I've read many posts about the CQB, and from what I know it's an excellent pistol. Wilson guarantees 1" accuracy at 25 yards, plus you don't have to put up with the newer additional safeties like with the Colt series 80 or Kimber Series II. Good article in Guns and Ammo about Wilson right now. They were sure talking up the 45 auto.
