anyone ever use wireless headphones while skiing, etc? what works, what doesn't?

I'd think that maybe a new Ipod shuffle would be smaller and have longer battery life than a separate transmitter and receiver. You could clip it to the inside of a hat or to a neck strap. It's a cool idea, though... you could potentially have a group of friends all listening to the same source.

4me what finally killed the bluetooth earbud thing was that i found a local company doing custom ear molds and putting medium quality audio drivers in them.
not that expensive, above expected audio quality, easy extended wear times, will not fall out (for the gym).

the potential of bluetooth seems self limited by the Europeans designing the spec.

If all you do is slide down the mountain, then yes you don't need a helmet. LMK when you step it up, I'll recommend a good grey matter protection device.
