Default Wireless Networking and the problems I'm facing with it.

I got both and the Hawking is a worthless piece of shit that refuses to work. The support service from India is probably the most horrible I've yet to experience. The guy on the other line can't wait to get off the phone with me. I've tried to do this three times today and I'm pretty decent with computers. All I simply want to do is get a wireless universal repeater outside my house so I can get wireless in the garage. I spent over 300 dollars on this POS with the CAT6 wire and all. I just don't have the man power to get the ladder out again and bring this thing down.

When I type in the IP address with a hardwire straight from the laptop to the device, the device takes really long and refuses to load. I've tried factory reboot with no avail. The Firmware of my unit is 1.15 and according to the hawking website, it hasn't even been released? The website states that the latest firmware is 1.14! WTF? Talk about a poor product.

Cool story bro. Return the Hawking.

I bridged two NetGears with only minimal hassle earlier this year. Set me back $120 for both units.
-check that your security scheme is correct for the bridging
-check the frequency
-ask you question again here.

^^I Second taking the Hawking back, granted their directional adapters work wonders though.

How far is your garage? And why cant you just take your laptop to the bathroom and do your dirty business?
