This is all so fvcked up...
This girl was Suzanne K. She didn't make it out alive. Somehow even though I never knew Suzanne she became the face of 9/11 to me. Her family even sent me a thank you for something I wrote about her that I didn't know someone forwarded to them. Suzanne and her family were all wonderful people, and like many that lost loved ones that day did not deserve the horrors that were visited on them. Heck, none of us deserved what was done and the suffering that continues ten years later.

Interesting read. I remember the day but was not part of the board. I went to a funeral here locally because a guy I worked with lost his older brother in the second tower to be hit. He called to tell his mom he was ok and heading to the stairs to get out. I forget what floor he was on but it was high on the tower. That was the last they heard from him. The second tower hit was the first to fall, I am guessing because the plane hit much lower on the building so the melting beams were subject to much more weight in a weakened condition than the first tower.

His last name starts with two "A's" so it is the first name read at the memorial services.

i was ten when the towers were hit. ill never forget that day when my mom woke me up and told me what had happened. its vivid in my mind
Its kind of weird but when i was a child i used to draw war scenes all the time when i was bored. i was probably like 5-9 years old and my pics were very simple and horribly done, but i used to draw pics of New York being attacked and i always drew the WTD in the background. Just a coincidence but interesting nonetheless.

10 years later.

We lost a great number of friends and family.

I still recall that Palestinian woman who was laughing at this tragedy--and how I wanted to beat the living shit out of her. And you know what-I still feel the same.
It's not politically correct-but I really don't care. Muslims attacked this country, and celebrated it.

Well I'm a muslim, I never celebrated the 911 disaster. A true believer of any religion would never celebrate the loss of innocent lifes. Btw Palestinian issue is a regional issue and not religious issue, I'm not a Plestinian but I do understand the dynamics of the conflict in that part of the world. Have a good one

to assume that every Muslim was cheering over 9/11 or that the Muslims are at fault for what happened is just ignorant.

The muslim world was by and large silent on these attacks. These attackers were celebrated as 'true believers' by muslims worldwide.

ignorant of what? The facts?? Besides nothing is 100%. But I would place bets that deep down it was a fairly high percentage of the religion of islam that was cheering that day. Which includes Muslims in this country. After all we are just followers of a man with 2 natures and that just isn't logical.

Disagree you can't call few hundreds or thousands the whole muslim world, your comments are utterly biased.
