He kicked his legs like a little girl when he jumped...just like I would have. Hell yes I would, we built swings like this when I was younger. Nothing this extreme, but 50-60ft was enough for us at age 18.

If I was there for the entire setup, test swing, etc, etc, sure, I'd do it. If someone just said, "Hey - try this out!", there's no way I'd try it.

With both my static and dynamic sets of rope that I use for climbing and spelunking I keep a tally of how many falls, the persons weight and the distance they fell. Based on PMI's index I will determine if the rope needs to be replaced.
Not sure how that factors into bungee cords or free fall swing setups. For that type of activity I trust a parachute more...
