It's actually not that great. Unreal Tournament and some of the newer FPS just have superior gameplay/graphics due to enhanced graphics engines.

 

This game was originally supposed to come out for PC, until Microsoft bought out Bungee and made it X-Box only. This would have been a great online game like Tribes with 64 player battles. Pity.

It was originally supposed to come out for the Mac, then PC, then consoles also. M$ wasn't dumb for doing this, they asked straight up, who has the next best game hands down coming out. When they got there answer, Bungie was approached immediately.

I suppose, but us PC gamers got screwed in the process. I've always enjoyed FPS games on the PC more than consoles due to better graphics and better aiming control with a mouse. Aiming with an X-box controller is somewhat annoying. The best part about PC games is internet gaming, which would have been great for Halo. Tribes 2 players know what I'm talking about - a 32-64 player team game is great, as the side that uses teamwork will always win.

 

although available on games like RtCW on Xbox life, i will agree with you that MP implementation is better on the PC. Mouse/Keyboard vs. console, yeah there are some arguments to me made and i agreed with all of them until i played thru Halo w/the xbox controller.

One of the big reasons i prefer my xbox of my pc's or mac's is because i sit at my desk all day long. Its a relaxing getaway to sit on the couch and play.
