People did this all the time in Everquest as well. Dual Boxing and Triboxing are pretty normal, and there will always be radicals in every part of society.

I think the dude's probably around 30 years old or more. Under the desk, there's a few Microsoft study books, one which is for Windows NT4 (a now rather obsolete OS).

I'd say, he's probably a SysAdmin in real life, maybe uses those computers as a lab environment at home in order to help him study for the latest operating systems and the like, and he might have even managed to get some of those laptops (seem to be HP computers?) cheap from his work place due to some company pricing scheme with companies that provide them hardware.

He just likes his games it would seem...

There's been a few peeps who had similar setups to play that microsoft aviation game. One even got so good at it, he became a real pilot.
