Dogman you not ALREADY hurting? this market has been slowly bleeding for well over a year. Too late/risky to short, too late to ride a bear fund.

I'm sticking to picking up key stocks as they fall dollar cost averaging and not putting much more thought into it.

Most of these are rock bottom and time to buy into:

AOL, INTC, PYPL/EBAY, F, DIS

Defense and security stocks may be in play.

Holding periods sub 1 year are foolish right now and just a gamble.

I bought some Intel at $16.90 last week - thinking that would be the lowest it would go. Seems to have closed at $16.81 today. Where will it go tomorrow?

If you are of the gambling type - buy some WorldCom. I bought 1000 shares at 12 cents last week. Figure all I could lose was $120 - but if the gov bails them out (which I believe will happen due to all the military and other gov contracts) and forces them to protect their share holders as part of any Chapter 11 settlement (which I also believe will happen - due to recent ENRON and other companies shafting middle America) - this now penny stock could rise up to its normal $5 or $6 / share within the next 12 months. Hey - I would be happy if it reaches a even buck.

wow you guys can buy as little as $120 worth of stock. i heard that you can even buy just one stock which seems pretty pointless to me, doesn't the brokerage fee just offset any potential gains when you're purchasing such small amounts.
hey how is the wrestling stock going, i think it's code will be wwe. the program now sucks and they can't fill out their arenas anymore.
good luck to all stock holders, we're going to need it.

Fuel cells. Verrry interesting. The problem with these kind of investments, Dogman, is they take a long time to truly come to fruition.

But, yeah, if I were a betting man, I would put some $$ into fuel cell tech.

Here's mourning the eventual, unstoppable death of the internal combustion engine (might as well make some money off it!)

It's all about Ameritrade. $8 per trade.
