WTF is going on in Austin?
Hopefully Missouri will pull an upset tomorrow and then all will be fair and all this BCS talk will die off.
Longhorn fans have a legitimate gripe! The way it looks the BCS is going to play out this year is not a fair system. There needs to be a play off.
Texas beat both teams that are going to play in the big 12 (beat each by double digits as a matter of fact).

Serves him right!!! Karma's a bitch, ain't it, Mackey?

Meanwhile, California, who believed they deserved to be in place of Texas, went to the Holiday Bowl and got clobbered by a mid-place Texas Tech team
but anyway, to answer the original question, this year, the Big 12 South division had a 3-team tie between Texas, Oklahoma, and TTU.
TTU was out of the running for having suffered a recent lost. It was between Texas and Oklahoma.
The tie-breaker for the division is the ranking in BCS system - partly determined by voters. Texas had beaten Oklahoma 45-35 earlier in the season. Some alum chartered a plane to fly a banner "45-35" over an Oklahoma game to remind everyone of their loss. This was the OK alum's response
