Yeah i did down here in san diego. it was funny actually, the power went out while i was in school. when i got out the power was still out, and when i got to my house, which is less then 2 miles from school my power was on. none of the clocks were blinking 12:00 so i guess the power didn't go out at my house.

Everyone should be on the look out for technology stock in this time of need. . .the technology; Solar cell power.

Heed my advice. . .so far my investments haven't lost anything in this recent market slow down. There are alot of companies to look into, especially Indian companies (in India that is).

I'm afraid for the near future we will all be depending on fossil-fuels. It would take many years for solar cells to have any impact, don't you think?

I agree that it will take time for the technology to develop to where it *should* be, but remember when computers where only used for scientist, mathmeticians, and coputer geeks. It wasn't until a company like Microsoft came along.

I'm just betting on some of the companies I have invested in will be in their industry to what a half of what Microsoft was to the home/business computing and software needs industry.

I'm also banking on the fact that solar energy research/development is at an all time high. Hell, this mini-"energy shortage/crisis" is fueling research two fold in just the last three months.

Full deployment of this technology is years away, but already there are many "backyard" hobbyist pioneering the hardware and hardwiring into their homes. This is just like how all the "at home" developed software companies started.
