WTH is wrong with my eyes?

Distilled water will take fluid osmotically out of the eye, generally not preferred...Most fake tear stuff have a stabilizer and anti-microbial to prevent far worse things...The AC in mall is hard for people with reduced duct flow. See a real doc.
also, to answer another question above, some punctal plugs will cause minor rubbing irritation and some won't.
I've got plugs and I'm on restasis. My eyes are fine on restasis, but if I stop the restasis for a few days my eyes react to AC in malls and large offices in the same way you've described. Also when it's cold and everyone has their heaters on - my eyes go nuts without restasis. I heart restasis.

How much does Restasis cost you? It also seems you have a dependency on it. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one (although sometimes it seems so) on Earth with permanent dry eyes.

THanks to those who answered!
Yup I'm pretty dependant on the stuff. I pay $25 for a 30-day supply and insurance pays...???...about $80 I think.
- and there's a lot of us dry-eyed creatures lurking about. I've never seen another one out in public either but when I go to the opthalmologist I find bunches of them gathered in one waiting room.

But I guess it's still better than being born with some worse handicaps that some unfortunate people have. I hate my dry eyes!
Can you tell me a bit about the punctal plugs? Do they help you much? What was the procedure like? Price? Just tell me some specific stuff you have experience with. Thanks a lot!
Atleast you don't have what I have..,
Very rare occassions and once in awhile. I see colorful lights in the corner of one of my eyes and about 30mins later. I feel this big headache, feel severly sick, dizzy, and it's best if I lay down. This occurs for several hours and it will ruined your day!!! And my eyes can't stand bright lights!?
Maybe eat more tomatoes, it might help you, or drink plenty of water?
