PS2 is the way to go! They have the library of titles old PS and new and the most interesting games are just starting to come out. It takes a good year or so for these systems to have decent games

Nintendo will direct itself towards the childrens market

X box is just MS trying to reach for a new revenue stream. I don't think I'll last.

 

I think X-BOX and Game Cube will go pretty well. For those who has been to E3 this year will know. The X-BOX and Gamecube display were just simply amazing. I think give M$ sometime, they will conquer this market. They are the only orgainzation in the world can affort throwing money and people at the problem and doesn't get hurt.

I don't have PS2. There are only several games that I would defintely get. Gran Turismo 3 (played it in my friend's place), Resident Evil series (future ones will appear in Game Cube, if not exclusive to game cube), Final Fantasy (also will appear on Game Cube if not exclusive to game cube), Zelda (I think this one will appear on Game Cube also). Three out of Four games that I would like to have are going to be on Game Cube. Game Cube got it going,

I hope all of them keep it up. So, there will be a lot of competition going on, and none of us will go broke on spending money on these consoles.

if they sell an extended warranty on the ps2 get it

mine broke and i called up sony only to find out it only had a 90 day warranty and they would charge me to fix it so i hung up on them

needless to say i was pissed for paying $300+ for a ps2 that wont play dvds or games on dvd discs

pretty awesome, that is from the "gold" copy of roque squadron. NO CGI all real in-game gameplay.

 

I placed my preorder for gamecube today...worst comes to worst, I can sell for a profit.

 

I will eventually get all 3.
