It really is the greatest thing since sliced bread. If you play it, you'll know what I mean.

I'm currently playing Unreal and all my friends who I have had over loved it. It includes a voice comunicator that allows you to talk to others during the game. You can even mask your voice in real time.

Waiting for broadband man to come to my house soon before I get to hook mine up. I have been playing mech assualt for the last4 hours though.

 

so why not continue to use the gamespy software that's free. Does xbox live offer something gamespy can not?

Does anybody know the minimum connection speed required to support Xbox Live? I have DSL but my downstream speeds haven't been any faster than 160kbps.

Anyone know how much it costs after the first year is over? I read on the site that the starter kit is $50, which includes one year of subscription, but I'm wondering how much it costs after that? Is it $50 annually?
