I had the Atari 2600 too. I sometimes wish I would have kept it. I just cant get over how 20 years of gaming has evolved into what it is today. Its crazy.

Anyway back to the topic... Xbox3 .....

How many of you remember this game system?...I had one too. LOL can we say Colecovision?

My grandpa worked for coleco so we had one of those with all the games. Lots of classics on there! QBert ftw.

Back on topic: Many Gamespot employees are retarded. Microsoft will not release a new console 1 year after the 360.

To whoever said they trust sony more than gates, I find trust in sony pretty funny after the whole rootkit scandal as of late. This was just a funny observation - I don't own either and don't plan to.

The only thing wrong with that Atari was the joysticks wouldn't hold up against gorilla-hands!

XBox3 in 2006? No way. We'd have heard about the video chip development by now. But... at what point might MS make the system modular for upgrading (like a regular PC)? I could see it happening if overall system sales slow down enough. Slide out the video card and slap a new one in there!

I was mostly joking but, if M$ was in the recording biz, I would expect the same kinds of issues. I don't actually plan to buy either system at this point but, when GT5 comes out, I'll probably have to get it.

I don't buy any M$ products and the only Sony products I own are the PS2 and PSP. I guess they did good on both of those.

I agree with you on that one. I think they put that up there to get customers asking about it.

With all of the Xbox problems I would stick with the PS systems. However as of late I just had to buy my 5th PS2. 4 systems because of abuse and one due to its old age. On the other hand I had one Xbox and the first time it froze, it was trashed and we will never spend another dime on Microsoft videogame products. If they are free, thats a different story..

I really do not think they will come out with a xbox 3 in Dec '06...if they do I will be PISSED. BTW, I have owned these:

Colecovision
Atari 2600
Nintendo
Super Nintendo
Nintendo 64
Game Boy
Sega
Sega CD
Sega Saturn
Dreamcast
Playstation
Playstation 2
PSP
xbox
xbox360

To be honest with you I never really played any of them very much with the exception of Halo and the Gran Turisimo series. I just have an obsession with gadgetry/electronics
