I don't know why people are knocking her singing, she has a beautiful voice (when she uses it right). I feel she sold out and went the "pop" route when she left her old record label (the one her ex-husband ran, I think) or something. But her prior recordings are not bad.
Hopefully, this time around, she will use her voice like she used to.

But yeah, you're right. Good music is hard to find. I cannot imagine of 50 cent sold 1.2 million albums this past week and why Jennifer Lopez sold 350,000 also. Go figure.

Granted, she is not as popular as she once was. But the music she is putting out is 10x better than anything I've heard from what you would call today's news (Britney, Christina, Beyonce, etc.)
