Here in the great LA megalopolis, I buy 10 dozen crickets per week for my frogs and toads. That's a cool sporting goods store.

That's pretty bad. I actually grew up in Colton between Molalla and Estacada.

I grew up with a forest as my back yard. I've seen elk, cougar, deer, bobcat, bear, etc.....that's the sticks!

At least in Colton you can get to civilization in a reasonable amount of time. Portland is a 3 hour drive from Roseburg. Roseburg is a freakin metropolis compared to all the other cities within 50 miles.
