When I'm ready to pass out, or wanna take a nap but can't quite fall asleep, I'll play some car vids on my computer. I'll pick something without any commentary, just some in-car video like a lap of the Nurburgring, or some in-car footage of a 911 GT3, or maybe the car chase from Bullitt. Or, if it's on, I'll put it on NASCAR/CART/IRL (F1 puts me to sleep when I wanna stay awake) and hop in bed. I fall asleep within minutes. The sounds of those motors just revving, then dropping, then revving again, always helps me fall asleep.

Am I a freak or are you guys like that as well?

 

i dont know, if i hear an engine, it usually makes me stay up, so no i dont listen to engines when i want to sleep. I turn the radio station to one of those soft song stations and just dose off.

I am so with you. Two wheel tuesdays on Speed do it the best, because I can't stay interested in motorcycles.
I've always wanted to make a cd with engines revving in a thunderstorm. I just can't find the right engine sound.
