quite fast!
9'30 minutes for a trip that could take about 20 minutes with much luck and driving fast...but then again he doesn't stop at red lights
I know all of the streets he takes (including mine, towards the end, before reaching the top of montmartre!), and if some of them could be taken that fast, others are just not suitable at all for such driving. The fact that traffic is almost non-existent is quite striking also. This must have been shot at dawn on an autumn day (4 or 5 in the morning), and nowadays it would be impossible because of heavy traffic.
Claude Lelouch is a very popular (but not higly regarded by critics) french director, doing movies since the 50's, and although I had heard of that one, I had never seen it. Thanks!
