At first I thought, if I change my lifestyle then the terrorists win. But then I thought, I'd rather be prepared just in case. This was especially of concern because the gov seems so certain that something is going to happen. I bought a few canned foods and some water in case we have a few rough days. I still need to set a place to meet in case of emergency. I'm thinking one place in east bay and one on SF side.

How have you been preparing or are you not preparing at all?

I don't think anyone is the middle of the country, maybe other than Chicago has much to worry about, but being in CA or the NYC area, then some precautions would be good...

I carry three extra clips ihstead of two. I'm thinking about putting the rifle in the back of the car.

Might not stop a terrorist attack, but it might get me to the front of the line when the looting starts.

No special preparations here. It's not that I feel making preparations would concede defeat to the terrorists, but just that IMO, making preparations will only help in a small portion of possible scenarios. If I'm at work or away from home, which is the vast majority of the day, then those stockpiles of food and what not at home aren't going to do me much good. Just a personal thing, of course.

Other than a couple days worth of water and canned food, no preparation here.

It's not much effort to tack on a few post-terroism supplies in addition to the earthquake survival kit.
