your definition of terrorism?
Apart from anything you've heard from the news (which is difficult to do), no quotes of any kind, what is YOUR definition of terrorism?
my take:
Honestly, I don't really know anymore. Is it just defined as individuals killing other people? Would Americans be called terrorists because our organized army of citizens went over and killed a bunch of people and even citizens too? Would we as Americans be called terrorists because of the bombs we have dropped to wipe out thousands of lives? Thus, I'm not sure what terrorism is.
Educate me.

I would have given a quick and decisive answer if asked this question not too long ago. Now...I'm not so sure...and any opinions I have on the justification or condemnation of actions taken by either side are probably too political to bring up.
Terrorism must have "terror" involved as one of the intent.
Killing a person with no terrorizing intent is just a murder.
This means calling in false bomb threats in an effort to terrorize a group of people is perfectly fitting to be called terrorism. How about an example? Flying a plane into World Trade Center in an attempt to scare US government into "leaving them alone". That's terrorism. Bombing the crap out of Afghanistan is not terrorism. That's just simple mass murder. Our self-justified explaination for mass muder is called justice.
That's just definition of course. Personally, I don't want to be on the receiving end of either one. I'm sure that's how most of us feel. Since sponsoring a mass murder such as bombing the crap out of "them" may prevent terrorism (call me naive, but I choose to believe it), I'm all for it.
What I still don't understand is why the hell did we bomb Serbia?
What purpose did that serve our people?
I'd rather sell weapons to KLA for them to fight on their own instead of dropping bombs that costs tax payers tons of $$. In fact, we would have made some profit out of it as well. So, instead of helping a friend and making some profit, we lost money and respect. I don't know what kind of deal that was.

terrorism is the act of inciting fear (terror) in a target. Varying levels of terrorism correspond with varying levels of fear in the victim. Like any definition of a human behaviour, terrorism is a huge grey area.
