Is there still a big Trance/techno/electronic culture out there? I haven't seen or heard much since like 5 years ago when it was almost mainstream. And I used to work in "little Saigon", so it was REALLY Mainstream.

I won a $25.00 iTunes card from Orchard Radio, for being the host with the most points. Don't use iTunes so I'll end up giving it to my son for a present...maybe.

Yeah most trance and techno type of music has gone back to its underground roots, the good stuff anyway. You'll hear your standard techno remixes of pop songs on local FM radio but not the *good* stuff.

I have too many to post even a snippet

I'm trying to find a song I heard in a mix recently - the female lyrics go "do you think you can get away... with the things that you say?" I think it was in an Andrea Mami set, but I don't have any of his stuff.

Any clues?

It was on FriskyRadio - http://www.friskyradio.com/
you might try "the things you say" -cicada... i have the dirty south remix, don't know if it makes much of a difference, but it's my favorite mix of it.

i usually only like vocals if it's just a few verses with a nice beat. just enough vocals that it enhances the music and makes the song a little more interesting...

I love this station! If their Electronica/Dance DJs are even half as good as their weekday DJs, this'll be money:

Tiesto FTW

I have been listening to a lot of ETN.fm Trance Station on ITunes radio lately. Some great stuff on there.

no idea, but there are still people out there like it! i got my flights booked for ibiza in september. tuesday night @ amnesia will be pretty trance heavy...armin van buuren, atb, and markus schultz. and hopefully will catch louie vega (house) at cafe mambo if the defected pre-party is there. thursday night at amnesia has ferry corsten and above&beyond, but i've seen corsten before and wasn't too impressed...
