My mother is here on vacation, and she asked if she could install itunes on my PC and help her transfer songs.

she goes back and installs it and comes asking for help because it doesn't work. Turns out itunes searches your system for media and puts it in its lists. All my music was there (including some gangsta rap tunes I don't want my mother seeing titles of). In the movies section, all my $$$$$$ was there.

I don't think she looked there before calling me, but I was clicking around with her and I switched to the movies. turns out thumbnails are there and everything. I clicked away after 2 seconds. I hope she didn't notice anything "off". She's 64, so I don't think she really knew what was going on.

of course, next step was telling my mom I needed a few minutes to "figure this out." She leaves...I clear out EVERYTHING...then call her back saying I figured it out.

Just thought I'd share. She caught me "servicing myself" about 15 years ago so it wouldn't be the first time mom has seen her baby boy in a less than flattering light.

that's why you put everything in My Document, set it on private, and create a second account for other people when they use your computer.

you're a pro...another option is to set the pron folder as a hidden folder and turn off viewing of hidden folders. If you are a pron surfer make sure to frequently delete your cookies, temp files and clear history. My wife caught me once in the shower...I figure its a good thing because women always over analyzing everything. From her perspective she proabably thought I wasnt getting enough puss, when in fact I was and I still do it even if I am getting ample puss.

 

or get a second hard drive uplug it when anyone comes over =X
