YouTube Is Doomed
YouTube, that incandescent tower of video Babel; monument to the sloughed-off detritus of our exponentially-exploding digital culture; a Technicolor cataract of skateboarding dogs, lip-synching college students, political punditry, and $$$$$$; has reached the zenith of its meteoric rise; and Icarus-like, wings melting; is spiraling back to earth. Despite massive growth, ubiquitous global brand awareness, presidential endorsement, and the world
Youtube is doomed because people upload tons of crap but don't pay to do so.
Who pays to maintain the infrastructure? Imagine if ebay or paypal didn't charge fees... that's basically Youtube.
They'll eventually have to charge people for uploading vids or something like that.

I read at the bottom that advertising won't work, but why? A lot of companies make their payday from advertisement. Look at honda-tech.
