i thought i was one of the only ones with a j's racing dry carbon type 1 wing on the boards. haha

i too, am hesitant to drill into my dry carbon trunk...but i have to.

I had my dry carbon wing, trunk and canards clearcoated. If you clearcoat that wing, be prepared for a large bill...it LOVES to suck up clearcoat. we put like 100 hours and a LOT of clearing and sanding and buffing into my wing. looks amazing and didnt add much weight at all, but damn...

the trunk was a lot easier, like 1 coat, done.

the j's dry wing is the larger 1x2 weave, so it has a lot of areas for clear to fall into. the trunk is 1x1

 

Hi, Anyone can give me a link or writeup on how to install the J's Side skirt? having some confusion on installing it.

 

Shouldn't be difficult. I'm thinking you're trying to mount the skirt on the wrong side? Narrow end to the rear.

 

j's molded half lip with canards and type 1 wing. Trading my spoon diffuser for a js one also.
