if you guys can get time attacks for $200, order me a set and ship it over here!
I think people were just a bit thrown off with your car because whoever paint matched your front lip and sideskirts with the rest of the car must be colorblind.. and as for the rims,
what kind of hood is that? cwest?

In this pic, it looks like you have stock, unrolled front fenders. If so, how did you fit 17x9 +44 in the front? What size tires are you running? Camber?
Thanks.
silentdancer,
The pics in this thread thus far don't look like rolled fenders as they still have that vertical section. Is there a way to roll fenders while keeping that vertical section at the edge of the fender? I always thought that goes away when you roll it.
Also, some of these fitments based on where I see my wheels at now don't seem like they could fit even with aggressive camber.
Here's what I mean:
My setup: 17x7.5 +48, wheel is maybe 5mm from flush with fender (tire is almost flush), stock camber (approx. -0.5*)
Setup from this thread: 17x9 +44, wheel should be 23mm further out than my setup. Even with an additional -2* camber (-2.5* total), the top edge of the wheel would only be pulled in an additional 7.5mm, still leaving the top of the wheel over over 15mm further out than my setup, or 10mm beyond the fender.
i believe his fenders are rolled, he is running 245/40 all around right jet?
for my question,
yes you can roll the fenders without losing that vertical edge. the term rolling means rolling the lip of the fender ( if you look under your rear quarter panels, under the black rubber guard there is a lip ) flat with the actual panel to provide more clearance. or you can trim the fenders or cut/grind them. with a regular fender roll you will keep that vertical part, if you ask for a flare or a pull on the fenders the vertical part will be pulled out.
the reasons why jet's car doesnt look like the wheel is sticking out a lot is because
1. he is lowered, lowering the car is a must if you want to run aggressive offsets. if you ran a 9+45 on stock height it will stick out and look kind of weird. once you lower a car the wheels will automatically start to camber in which add's to the clearance.
2. the size tire he is running, 245 on a 9 inch wide rim stretches which allows for more clearance than usual since the sidewalls stretch instead of being vertical with the edge of the rim.
hopefull what i said makes some sense? let me know if you still have more questions ill help you out
